You've been perching for a very long while. Watching and waiting. Every bit of the lovely lace covering the hills quivered in quiet breezes. The sun sank behind the Hillsdale hills and the sky became an ever-changing array of paintbox colors. You watch. You wait. You perch. You enjoy.
Breathing becomes a quiet, steady, meaningful mantra of gratitude for all of Nature's gifts. You continue perching. Awaiting that almost perfect moment... when the eye of the lens seems to see exactly what your grateful eyes are seeing. You wait until it feels as though the inanimate object in your hands is almost able to feel exactly what your heart is feeling.
There it is. You hold your breath. Your camera becomes an extension of your soul and psyche as you lean forward and endeavor to capture a tenuous moment in time...
