Mere words cannot begin to express the things I feel about this image. It's about my memories and dreams of a very special child I've loved. A child I continue to love... even though he's no longer in my life due to serious issues his parents have.
There's nothing as terrible as the pain of losing a child you love. Whether it's a child that has your DNA and came into this world from your womb - or it's a child you've been like a mother to and put your heart and soul into loving...
"This world is no match for your love.
Being away from you
is death aiming to take my soul away.
My heart, so precious,
I won't trade it for a hundred thousand souls.
Your one smile takes it for free."
~Rumi
“The leaves of memory seemed to make
A mournful rustling in the dark”
